Nomenclature
Dombay
The star and its exoplanet were named as part of the NameExoWorlds 2019 contest by Russia. Dombay was named for the Домба́й Dombay region of the North Caucasus, a resort region whose wildlife includes bears, alluding to Ursa Major. Its exoplanet companion was named Teberda after the Теберда́ Teberda river, a river with rapid flow, alluding to the planet's rapid motion around its host star.
