Mago
The star was named as part of the NameExoWorlds 2019 contest by Germany after Mago National Park in Ethiopia, a place known for its giraffes. A fitting name for a star in the constellation of the Giraffe. Its exoplanet companion Neri was named after the Neri river which runs through parts of Mago National Park.
