Nomenclature
Aniara
The star and its exoplanet were named as part of the NameExoWorlds 2019 contest by Sweden. The star was named after Aniara, the eponymous spaceship of the epic poem written by 1974 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate Harry Martinson. Its exoplanet companion Isagel was named for the pilot of said spaceship.
