Nomenclature

Calvera

Calvera was discovered in 2001 as the eighth isolated neutron star, being added to a category formerly called "The Magnificent Seven" named after a 1960 movie. Calvera was the villain of the movie, a fitting name for the one in addition to The Magnificent Seven.
